With the plethora of water activities in this area, the secret behind our consistently high ratings across all platforms is simple: customization. Each trip offered is tailored to fulfill your day on the water. Upon booking, SeaEO will connect with you to discuss your unique preferences—typically a day before your adventure. From there, you'll craft a custom charter that aligns with your specific desires, needs, or budget.

You control the voyage on your charter and dictate your dream day, not our company, allowing for multiple activities not just a specific one and a day filled with your dream itinerary.
Being we don't employ the captains directly, we open ourselves to not being tied to someone. We only select the top captains in the area to put on our pre-approved list, which leaves you the selection of the best captains in the area to join your charterers.
Due to the foreign built vessels SeaEO exclusively uses, it forces the largest allowable non-COI charter capacity. That allows you, the crew, and 12 of your guests to join you on your voyage!
SeaEO charters are designed for groups of up to 13 people in the charter party - the charterer plus up to 12 guests - in addition to the captain and any crew. That makes a St. Petersburg charter a strong option for couples, families and larger groups without moving to a large commercial tour boat.
Your St. Petersburg booking covers the private use of the selected SeaEO vessel and its listed onboard amenities for the reserved charter time. SeaEO’s Axopar 37 fleet includes features such as a bathroom, Bluetooth audio, enclosed cabin space, sunpads and a small cooler/refrigeration area. Fuel is not included, and captain payment is handled separately under SeaEO’s demise-charter structure. Exact inclusions and add-ons are shown during booking.
No. Fuel is separate from the listed St. Petersburg charter price. SeaEO tracks fuel used during the trip and discloses typical fuel costs during booking; the final amount varies with charter length, cruising speed, route and the number of longer-distance stops you choose. This structure allows the itinerary to stay flexible rather than limiting the trip to reduce fuel use.
Yes. SeaEO allows alcohol, food, drinks and snacks aboard its St. Petersburg charters, and the website also lists glass bottles as permitted. Guests are responsible for consuming alcohol safely and following the captain’s directions at all times. Catering can also be arranged through a separate vendor.
Yes. SeaEO lists pets, infants and children under 12 as permitted aboard its charters. The Axopar 37 also provides enclosed cabin space and a stateroom that can be helpful when younger guests need shade or downtime. Let SeaEO know about young children or pets before the trip so the captain can help plan for comfort and safety.
Safety and the quality of the trip come first. If weather, wind, tides or sea conditions make the planned St. Petersburg itinerary unsuitable, your captain may modify the route or activity plan. The captain may adjust the route, timing or activities to find the best available experience in the conditions. If the operator has to cancel the trip, SeaEO’s policy provides for rescheduling or a refund/credit under the applicable booking terms.
Yes, a visit to Egmont Key can be considered as part of a custom St. Petersburg itinerary when charter length, weather, tides, water depth, local rules and docking/anchoring conditions allow. SeaEO’s trips are intentionally flexible, so the captain can help decide whether that stop fits naturally into the day. SeaEO highlights Egmont Key for beaches, snorkeling, wildlife and historic Fort Dade/lighthouse scenery.
Yes. Shell Key Preserve is one of the signature boating destinations SeaEO highlights around St. Petersburg. It is known for undeveloped shoreline, swimming, shelling and wildlife. Access and the best anchoring area vary with tide, wind and protected habitat restrictions, so the captain will choose the appropriate stop.
Yes, cruising near Fort De Soto can be considered as part of a custom St. Petersburg itinerary when charter length, weather, tides, water depth, local rules and docking/anchoring conditions allow. SeaEO’s trips are intentionally flexible, so the captain can help decide whether that stop fits naturally into the day. SeaEO includes Fort De Soto among the Tampa Bay area’s standout boating destinations for beaches, history and outdoor scenery.
Yes, a sightseeing route with views of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge can be considered as part of a custom St. Petersburg itinerary when charter length, weather, tides, water depth, local rules and docking/anchoring conditions allow. SeaEO’s trips are intentionally flexible, so the captain can help decide whether that stop fits naturally into the day. How close the charter travels depends on the rest of your itinerary, shipping traffic and conditions in lower Tampa Bay.
Yes, when docking access, restaurant availability, charter duration and conditions allow. SeaEO’s boats are designed to pull up to waterfront restaurants, so a dock-and-dine stop can often be worked into a custom St. Petersburg itinerary. Let SeaEO know before the trip if dining is a priority so the captain can plan travel time and docking logistics.
Wildlife watching can be part of a St. Petersburg charter, and dolphins may be encountered in the local waterways. Because these are wild animals, sightings are never guaranteed. A local captain can choose routes that make sense for the day while keeping the trip enjoyable even if wildlife is not active.
Yes. A private sunset cruise is a natural fit for a St. Petersburg charter and is one of SeaEO’s commonly offered charter styles. Because the trip is private, the captain can shape the route around the best available evening views, weather and water conditions while keeping the pace relaxed for your group.
