  • Your Day, Your Way

You control the voyage on your charter and dictate your dream day, not our company, allowing for multiple activities not just a specific one and a day filled with your dream itinerary.

  • Only The Best Captains

Being we don't employ the captains directly, we open ourselves to not being tied to someone. We only select the top captains in the area to put on our pre-approved list, which leaves you the selection of the best captains in the area to join your charterers.

  • Large Charter Capacity

Due to the foreign built vessels SeaEO exclusively uses, it forces the largest allowable non-COI charter capacity. That allows you, the crew, and 12 of your guests to join you on your voyage!

Why people LOVE SeaEO

How many people can join a private Lake of the Ozarks luxury charter?

SeaEO charters are designed for groups of up to 13 people in the charter party - the charterer plus up to 12 guests - in addition to the captain and any crew. That makes a Lake of the Ozarks charter a strong option for couples, families and larger groups without moving to a large commercial tour boat.

What is included in the charter price?

Your Lake of the Ozarks booking covers the private use of the selected SeaEO vessel and its listed onboard amenities for the reserved charter time. SeaEO’s Axopar 37 fleet includes features such as a bathroom, Bluetooth audio, enclosed cabin space, sunpads and a small cooler/refrigeration area. Fuel is not included, and captain payment is handled separately under SeaEO’s demise-charter structure. Exact inclusions and add-ons are shown during booking.

Is fuel included in the cost of our charter?

No. Fuel is separate from the listed Lake of the Ozarks charter price. SeaEO tracks fuel used during the trip and discloses typical fuel costs during booking; the final amount varies with charter length, cruising speed, route and the number of longer-distance stops you choose. This structure allows the itinerary to stay flexible rather than limiting the trip to reduce fuel use.

Can we bring alcohol, food, coolers, and drinks aboard?

Yes. SeaEO allows alcohol, food, drinks and snacks aboard its Lake of the Ozarks charters, and the website also lists glass bottles as permitted. Guests are responsible for consuming alcohol safely and following the captain’s directions at all times.

Are smoking and vaping allowed on the boat?

Vaping/e-cigarettes are permitted aboard the boat. Cigarettes and cigars are more restricted because of fire, ash, odor and upholstery concerns; SeaEO generally asks guests to smoke off the boat or only in a captain-approved designated area. Always follow the captain’s instructions for the specific charter.

What is SeaEO’s cancellation and weather policy for Lake of the Ozarks?

Cancellations made at least 6 days before the charter receive a full refund; cancellations 2-5 days before receive a 50% refund; and cancellations within 2 days are non-refundable. Optional trip-cancellation insurance may allow cancellation up to 24 hours before departure for a full refund. If SeaEO or the captain determines that weather or other conditions make the trip unsuitable or unsafe, the company may reschedule the booking or provide a refund/credit under the applicable terms. Because policies can change, the terms shown at checkout should be treated as the final policy.

Can we stop at waterfront restaurants and bars during our charter?

Yes, when docking access, restaurant availability, charter duration and conditions allow. SeaEO’s boats are designed to pull up to waterfront restaurants, so a dock-and-dine stop can often be worked into a custom Lake of the Ozarks itinerary. Let SeaEO know before the trip if dining is a priority so the captain can plan travel time and docking logistics.

Can we swim and relax in a quiet cove?

Yes. Finding a cove for swimming and relaxing is one of the advantages SeaEO highlights for a private Lake of the Ozarks charter. The captain can choose a more protected area based on boat traffic, wind and crowd levels, giving your group time to anchor, swim and enjoy the lake at a slower pace.

Can we cruise near Bagnell Dam?

Yes, a sightseeing route in the Bagnell Dam area can be considered as part of a custom Lake of the Ozarks itinerary when charter length, weather, tides, water depth, local rules and docking/anchoring conditions allow. SeaEO’s trips are intentionally flexible, so the captain can help decide whether that stop fits naturally into the day. Lake traffic and your pickup point determine how naturally the dam fits into the day.

What areas of Lake of the Ozarks can we explore during our charter?

Lake of the Ozarks covers a very large network of main-channel water, arms and coves, so your charter will focus on a practical area rather than trying to cover the whole lake. SeaEO can build the route around quiet coves, scenic cruising, waterfront dining or social stops based on the amount of time booked.

Are weekday charters less crowded than weekends during the summer?

Generally, yes. SeaEO’s Lake of the Ozarks planning guide notes that summer weekends are the busiest time on the water, especially around holidays and major events. A weekday charter usually means less boat traffic and an easier pace at popular coves and waterfront stops, although conditions still vary by season and event schedule.

How does summer boat traffic affect our charter experience?

Summer weekends can bring heavy traffic and larger wakes on the main channel. A professional captain can adjust speed, route and timing and may use more protected coves when that creates a better ride. If your group prioritizes calm cruising, tell SeaEO when booking so the itinerary can be planned around the day’s expected traffic.

Can we book a private sunset cruise on Lake of the Ozarks?

Yes. A private sunset cruise is a natural fit for a Lake of the Ozarks charter and is one of SeaEO’s commonly offered charter styles. Because the trip is private, the captain can shape the route around the best available evening views, weather and water conditions while keeping the pace relaxed for your group.

Can we customize our charter for a bachelor party, bachelorette party, birthday, or other group celebration?

Absolutely. Customization is central to SeaEO’s charter model. A Lake of the Ozarks trip can be built around the type of group you are bringing - from birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette celebrations and proposals to family outings or corporate groups. Tell SeaEO the atmosphere and activities you want, and the route and pace can be planned around your priorities, conditions permitting.
