  • Your Day, Your Way

You control the voyage on your charter and dictate your dream day, not our company, allowing for multiple activities not just a specific one and a day filled with your dream itinerary.

  • Only The Best Captains

Being we don't employ the captains directly, we open ourselves to not being tied to someone. We only select the top captains in the area to put on our pre-approved list, which leaves you the selection of the best captains in the area to join your charterers.

  • Large Charter Capacity

Due to the foreign built vessels SeaEO exclusively uses, it forces the largest allowable non-COI charter capacity. That allows you, the crew, and 12 of your guests to join you on your voyage!

Why people LOVE SeaEO

How many guests can join a private Hampton luxury charter?

SeaEO charters are designed for groups of up to 13 people in the charter party - the charterer plus up to 12 guests - in addition to the captain and any crew. That makes a Hampton charter a strong option for couples, families and larger groups without moving to a large commercial tour boat.

What is included in the charter price?

Your Hampton booking covers the private use of the selected SeaEO vessel and its listed onboard amenities for the reserved charter time. SeaEO’s Axopar 37 fleet includes features such as a bathroom, Bluetooth audio, enclosed cabin space, sunpads and a small cooler/refrigeration area. Fuel is not included, and captain payment is handled separately under SeaEO’s demise-charter structure. Exact inclusions and add-ons are shown during booking.

Are fuel and captain costs included in our booking?

Fuel is not included in the charter rate. SeaEO calculates fuel based on actual usage, and the expected range for the boat is disclosed during the booking process. Captain payment is also separate from the vessel booking: under SeaEO’s demise-charter process, the charterer selects the captain and pays the captain directly, typically at the dock before departure.

Can we bring alcohol, food, or catered meals aboard?

Yes. SeaEO allows alcohol, food, drinks and snacks aboard its Hampton charters, and the website also lists glass bottles as permitted. Guests are responsible for consuming alcohol safely and following the captain’s directions at all times. Catering can also be arranged through a separate vendor.

Are smoking and vaping allowed on the boat?

Vaping/e-cigarettes are permitted aboard the boat. Cigarettes and cigars are more restricted because of fire, ash, odor and upholstery concerns; SeaEO generally asks guests to smoke off the boat or only in a captain-approved designated area. Always follow the captain’s instructions for the specific charter.

What happens if weather affects our Hampton charter?

Safety and the quality of the trip come first. If weather, wind, tides or sea conditions make the planned Hampton itinerary unsuitable, your captain may modify the route or activity plan. The captain may adjust the route, timing or activities to find the best available experience in the conditions. If the operator has to cancel the trip, SeaEO’s policy provides for rescheduling or a refund/credit under the applicable booking terms.

Can we cruise around Fort Monroe?

Yes, a sightseeing loop around the Fort Monroe waterfront can be considered as part of a custom Hampton itinerary when charter length, weather, tides, water depth, local rules and docking/anchoring conditions allow. SeaEO’s trips are intentionally flexible, so the captain can help decide whether that stop fits naturally into the day. Fort Monroe is one of Hampton’s signature waterfront landmarks and pairs naturally with a Hampton Roads or Chesapeake Bay cruise.

Can we travel from the Hampton River into Hampton Roads?

Yes, travel from local Hampton waterways into Hampton Roads can be considered as part of a custom Hampton itinerary when charter length, weather, tides, water depth, local rules and docking/anchoring conditions allow. SeaEO’s trips are intentionally flexible, so the captain can help decide whether that stop fits naturally into the day. The captain will account for commercial and military vessel traffic as the route opens into the larger harbor.

Can we cruise into the Chesapeake Bay during our charter?

Yes, continuing from Hampton Roads into the Chesapeake Bay can be considered as part of a custom Hampton itinerary when charter length, weather, tides, water depth, local rules and docking/anchoring conditions allow. SeaEO’s trips are intentionally flexible, so the captain can help decide whether that stop fits naturally into the day. Whether the route goes farther into the Bay depends on wind, waves, traffic and the amount of charter time booked.

What military and maritime sights can we see from the water?

Depending on the route, a Hampton charter can include views around Fort Monroe, Hampton Roads, working harbor traffic and the approach toward the Chesapeake Bay. Because this is an active maritime region, the exact sightseeing route will depend on navigation restrictions, vessel traffic and conditions on the day of your trip.

Can we cruise along the Buckroe Beach shoreline?

Yes, a shoreline cruise in the Buckroe Beach area can be considered as part of a custom Hampton itinerary when charter length, weather, tides, water depth, local rules and docking/anchoring conditions allow. SeaEO’s trips are intentionally flexible, so the captain can help decide whether that stop fits naturally into the day.

Can we stop at a waterfront restaurant?

Yes, when docking access, restaurant availability, charter duration and conditions allow. SeaEO’s boats are designed to pull up to waterfront restaurants, so a dock-and-dine stop can often be worked into a custom Hampton itinerary. Let SeaEO know before the trip if dining is a priority so the captain can plan travel time and docking logistics.

Can we book a private sunset cruise from Hampton?

Yes. A private sunset cruise is a natural fit for a Hampton charter and is one of SeaEO’s commonly offered charter styles. Because the trip is private, the captain can shape the route around the best available evening views, weather and water conditions while keeping the pace relaxed for your group.
