Experience a historic moment when The Ocean Race makes its first-ever stop on Florida’s Gulf Coast, May 4–16, 2027, in St. Pete-Clearwater. This is the only North American port of call for the 15th edition of the iconic fully crewed offshore sailing race, with the IMOCA 60 fleet berthed at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club on the downtown waterfront (in partnership with the University of South Florida) before departing on a 4,500-nautical-mile leg to Cascais, Portugal.
The free, public Ocean Live Park race village offers exhibits on sailing and ocean science, dock walks and team boat viewings, sustainability showcases, fan activations, and on-water activities. It’s a family-friendly celebration of ocean racing, marine innovation, and the local waterfront.
