Taste your way through one of the Emerald Coast’s most beloved winter traditions at the Sandestin Gumbo Festival in The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort (Miramar Beach / Destin area). Local restaurants compete in a gumbo cook-off for the title of Best Gumbo on the Emerald Coast, while attendees vote for People’s Choice and sample entries in the Best Bloody Mary at the Beach competition.
Expect unlimited tastings, live music (including zydeco), kids’ activities, and a festive atmosphere over the two-day weekend. The 37th annual took place February 20–21, 2026; the 38th annual is expected February 19–20, 2027 (tickets and details typically announced closer to the event).
