On Saturday, November 7, 2026, Fort Myers Beach glows for the Illuminations Parade, a free lantern walk hosted by What’s Up FMB. The procession starts near 2307 Estero Boulevard around 6 p.m. (the Fort Myers Beach Chamber lists the evening as 5:30–8 p.m.), heads north on Estero Boulevard, turns onto Old San Carlos Boulevard, and finishes at Bayside Park. Families, businesses, and neighbors carry handmade lanterns along the route, and spectators line Estero and Old San Carlos or meet the parade as it arrives bayside.
It is an easy evening to pair with a private charter. Cruise Matanzas Pass or Estero Bay while the island lights up, then step ashore near Bayside Park for the finish, or watch the glow from the water and head back as the parade winds down. For the latest start time, route, and lantern details, check the Fort Myers Beach Chamber listing: https://www.fortmyersbeach.org/events/illuminations-parade/
Make the night yours. Book a private SeaEO charter for up to 13 guests and we’ll plan the timing around the parade. Call (757) 775-1458 or visit https://sea-eo.com to reserve.
