Get ready to make a splash at the annual Swim for Alligator Lighthouse on Saturday, September 13th, 2025! This unique 8-mile open water swimming event challenges individuals and relay teams to swim 4 miles out to the iconic Alligator Lighthouse, circle it, and return 4 miles back to shore in Islamorada. Participants not only test their endurance in the beautiful waters of the Florida Keys but also contribute to raising awareness and funds for the preservation of this historic landmark. Each solo swimmer and relay team is required to have a support kayak, fostering a spirit of teamwork and ensuring safety throughout the event.
